Apart from appreciative thoughts, you must also work on your overall appearance, i.e grooming, dressing, poise and posture. Your success will be influenced by the visual image that you project to others, i.e whether you appear to be “in harmony” or not.
If you go around looking like a loser, even the deity of wealth would avoid you. Who indeed would have the confidence to do business with you? And if you are employed, your employer would certainly think twice before promoting you and giving you added responsibilities. Either way, you lose out.
