Silent Night by Mary Higgins Clark

Silent Night by Mary Higgins Clark

This book is written seemingly specially for Christmas. It is quite a simple short story in which a young boy Brian went missing and was taken hostage by Jimmy, a prisoner who ran away.

Brian was very protective of a St.Christopher medal which had saved his grandfather’s life in World War II. He believed that if he sickly father is able to have the medal, he will recover from leukemia.

This book is a little disappointing as compared to the previous book (I heard that song before) by Mary Higgins Clark. I guess this is more for a short Xmas novel. Christmas is coming soon.I am really looking forward to Christmas, as I am going away to Malacca for a day trip.
