Secrets of Superstar Sales Pros Part 2

F.G ” Buck ” Rodgers

Question : What is the core of your belief system, if you had to sum it up in one basic principle?

Rodgers : The thing I stress all the time is that you have to do a thousand things 1% better, not just do one thing 1000% better. It’s doing the little things well being on time for meetings, returning phone calls, saying “thank you” to people.

It sounds like a simplistic cliche, but that is the reason one organization or one person is successful and the other person is not. The secret is that everybody knows what they ought to be doing, but the ones who practice daily excellence are the real ” difference makers”

With a little extra effort and a positive attitude, the problem goes away.
Lonnie “Bo” pilgrim
Question : How many hours do you work a day?
Pilgrim : I get up at 5.30 am and I go to bed at 10 pm. Most of the time I am doing something that contributes to the business. I don’t believe a successful business can be managed on 40 hours a week. If a manager is not working 60 hours a week, he’s not doing his job.

Mo Siegel

Question : How did you learn to accept disappointments?

Siegel : I am basically religious. The foundation of his faith is not in materialism, it’s not faith in people, but faith in God. I believe that people become greater by being more God-like rather than by becoming themselves. I don’t believe that the self is everything or that by fulfilling yourself, you can be this great individual.
