According to Richardson, there are 5 steps for sales coaching for yourself.
The 5 Steps are :

1) Connect
2) Explore
3) Leverage
4) Resolve
5) Act

The important thing is how expertly you execute them. Within each step, there are a few specific actions for you to accomplish – not every time but most of the time. The actions are really a discipline.

Try a 5 day program – one step each day (or week). When you focus on one step at a time before moving on to the next, you will go from understanding to doing, and experience the exponential power of incremental, one-step-at-a-time growth. Once you have got that step, apply it in several calls. You will know when it is time to move to the next step, based on debriefing the day.
